Photography - Apples

This is one of my proudest photos in my Digital Photography class in Digital Media and IT. The goal for this project is to capture shape and texture in the image. I'm always enamored with still life paintings, so why not take a photo that artist can make a still life piece of?

I shot this with a Canon DSLR camera.
