Unexpected Greeting Cards

This is my school project creating a couple of simple, unexpected greeting cards.
My first card I chose is a Christmas card. The main colorations correspond to the Christmas feel, which are green, yellow, and red. The frame for this is inspired by candy canes, a common snack for this season. The main Christmas object are the ball ornaments that you put on Christmas trees, with two yellow balls with red outlines featured on the cover. The three in the left are inverted in color, with them varying in sizes and ascending from smallest to biggest. This simulates bubbles from the fizz in booze. The main joke for this card is the names of the friends (Brandy, Jäger, and Jack) also being names of famous alcoholic drinks.
The second card I chose is for a new pet. The pet being a dog, a furry dog hence the “Furball” in the title. The frame is made up of dog bones, and the blue background is a personal choice for the dog to stand out. The main dog is on the lower left, while its tail is on the upper right. This simulates the dog “hugging” the card. The symbol within the left inside page is a dog paw, and the right has an image of a worn-down sofa. The main joke of “rest in pieces” is that dogs love chewing on sofas, and this “Welcome New Dog” card is also a “Condolence” card for your furniture.
My final card is a congratulatory card. I made the frame resembling the lanyard used in most medals. A simple gold medal is on the upper left, and a diploma on the lower right. The symbol within the left inside page is another design for a medal, with a star instead of a circle. The main joke is that the receiver of this card is a slacker/repeater, and he got his diploma later than most kids thanks to it. This is told by the skull with a graduation cap on the bottom left of the right inside page, all dusty and having a spider web.
All three cards have the font Monotype Corsiva as I feel this font’s cursive yet thin style suits all my themes the most. The inside page’s font is Myriad Pro, for a simple font that is easy to read. The theme of my cards are them having a frame, having images on the top left and bottom right of the cover, as well as an image at the bottom right of the message page.
